Our New Providence, New Jersey office has been the North American office for the Cargill Ocean Transportation organization since 1960.
Our primary focus is North and South America freight markets, with a significant insight into the US and Caribbean trade flows, port logistics and dynamics.
An experienced and diverse team includes knowledge in all of the major agricultural and industrial commodities in both dry and liquid freight markets. We work closely with ship owners and shipbrokers chartering dry bulk vessels in sizes from 5,000 tonnes to Handymax size cargoes, as well as chartering vessels for liquid parcels ranging from 300 tonnes to VLCC size, on both a full and part cargo basis.
The expertise in our markets has enabled us to work together with customers, to discover and implement innovative ways to minimize freight risks and manage rate volatility. Our optimization of different South/Northbound trade flows, to the shared benefit of Cargill and external customers, is an example of our customer focus and logistics management.
